Available-to-production material
MES may receive or query inventory that is physically and status-wise available for a production order or location.
Consumption
Material can be consumed by scan, manual confirmation or automation. Accurate lot/serial capture is critical when genealogy is required.
WIP inventory
Intermediate material may exist between operations without a conventional warehouse transaction. MES can track this operational WIP state.
Reconcile upstream
Agreed inventory movements and consumption should be sent to ERP/WMS at clear transaction boundaries so operational and financial records stay aligned.
