The operational layer between planning and production

MES turns production intent into traceable manufacturing execution

A manufacturing execution system connects production orders, resources, material, people, quality rules and shop-floor events. Its value comes from a reliable operational record — not simply another dashboard.

The central idea

MES is about manufacturing operations context

Machines generate signals. ERP systems hold business transactions. MES/MOM gives production events context: which order, material lot, operation, resource, operator, specification and timestamp belonged to that event.

Production intentWhat is scheduled or authorized to be produced, in what quantity and sequence.
Execution stateWhat is running, waiting, stopped, completed, scrapped or on hold.
Material contextWhich lots, serials, components or ingredients were consumed and produced.
Quality contextWhich checks, specifications, deviations and dispositions applied.
Performance contextDowntime, cycle, yield, throughput, attainment and other standardized KPIs.
